
I wanted to learn some more about effective techniques in communicating with an audience and of course get some hands-on practice in doing so. I'm aspiring an academic career and it is a necessity in this line of work.
How an exercise went? In general we would speak shortly on a given topic whilst applying the pointers given by Eugene or some of the tips/guidelines just covered. I think stressing the importance of structure was a good thing, because it is here that often things go wrong. The filming was a good idea, though a bit confronting, but hence all the more useful! One can so much better review what went good and wrong.
