
I always had a fear of speaking before people that I didn’t know and this training was an opportunity to practice and overcome this fear.
There were different types of exercises. Following various objectives, we had to do exercises following previously suggested advice. One of the most stressful exercises was to perform improvisations. We have 1.5 minutes to prepare to speak for 1.5 minute on a randomly selected topic.
Now I know my weak sides and I pay attention to them. The workshop also provides preparation techniques that make oral expression more comfortable. I had an opportunity to use these techniques in my job interviews. These techniques can be used for the job interviews as well as for the business meetings or presentations at work.
